Alissa and Larry were married on a warm and beautiful day in December at the Tuscan Courtyard. With their black, gold, ivory, and hints of burgundy decor… every detail was absolutely stunning. But it’s not just about the wedding decor right? I loved this couple since the day I met them at Starbucks. Their ceremony was beautiful and they danced the night away with their family and friends. Only to leave the party in the coolest way ever…
Tessa and Stephen were a dream to photograph! They are the type of couple that you just can't help but want to be friends with! They are easy-going, fun, and their laughs are contagious. Especially Stephen's! He kept giggling every time I had him and Tessa do a certain pose and then we were all laughing. By the end of the session he wouldn't stop kissing her! :) This was their first time to take photos together and they were naturals!
Even though it was SUPER windy and I'm sure we looked like crazy people running around downtown Houston, we enjoyed our session! Their outfits were perfect, their laughter was genuine, and I'm lucky to have the opportunity to be a part of their new chapter.
Here are some favorites from their engagement session! Enjoy! XOXO
Last Tuesday (10/18) I got a call about photographing a small wedding that Friday (10/21). Yep... Claudia and Justin pulled off a wedding in only a few days, and it was beautiful! They even mentioned that they might write a book about it all. ;) They got married in Pasadena and had their reception with family and friends at Claudia's brother's house in Summerwood, Houston.
Claudia's family flew in from all around the world to see their sister/daughter marry the love of her life. I think Mrs. Bonnie (Justin's Mom) said it best, "Families were brought together from Germany, Venezuela and Columbia and at times there was a language barrier, but the one language we all knew and could understand was the love that these two have for one another." There was a lot of joy, hugs, and happy tears and I'm so thankful I was available to capture those moments.
Before I met the happy couple, I spoke to Justin on the phone to get to know him a little better and find out more about Claudia. He told me that he doesn't really like his picture to be taken and that he turns red, but he'd make sacrifices for his bride. O. M. G. Justin and Claudia were a dream to work with!! After we were done taking the bride and groom portraits I was like Justin... really?? haha! They were both naturals and just head over heels in love. Here are some favorites of mine from their day. Enjoy! XOXO
Florist: J Scotts Aflorist
Decorations: Everything was decorated by Claudia's family. The leaves were brought in from Germany. They did an amazing job!
In January I made a list of goals for my business and one of them was to make a short promo video! Happy to say that I was able to check that off of my list thanks to Cody with Cody Nethery Media! We got all of this set up in a week and he did a great job. There have been a lot of new changes to my business this year, especially within the last month. I couldn't be more excited to incorporate the new things I have planned for my KNP bride and grooms!
I am SO uncomfortable in front of the camera... Do I smile? Do I not smile? Oh my gosh, I squinted my eyes... I feel awkward. Yup, I totally look awkward. haha! On the other hand, Kaley and Joseph were ah-mazing models. Thanks guys for modeling for me! Another big thank you to Kalie at Craved Creations for the cookies (there would have been 4 cookies but Nate ate one on accident), Boyds Blossoms for the gorgeous bouquet, and Linda at The Plantations on Tabbs Bay.
So here it is. A little snippet into the KNP wedding experience! I absolutely love working with couples on their wedding day. To find out more on how to become a #KNbride, send me an email and we'll chat! Until then... enjoy the video! XOXO
My gorgeous friend, Kelsey, is officially a Mrs.! She looked so beautiful on her wedding day in May. It was a lovely ceremony and I'm glad I was able to be there!
When we took her bridals in April it was a gloomy day, but we made it work! These are some of my favorites. Congrats to Mr. & Mrs. Calbow! Enjoy!
