Craved Creations Bakery | League City, Texas Photographer

By the end of this post I bet you you're going to want to go get some sweets! I know the perfect place to go too! ;) Craved Creations Bakery had their grand opening this past Saturday. Kalie and her family did an outstanding job! I know she put in a lot of hard work for her business and they are proud.

Kalie is so talented. Her chocolate chip cookies are Nate's favorite. I don't really have a favorite because I like it ALL! Seriously. Everything looks amazing and taste even better. The first thing Grant said when we walked in is "mmm..mmm..". So if you're in the League City area, stop by Craved Creations Bakery and give them a try! Congrats Kalie on your new adventure!!

Visit Craved Creations Bakery here or on their website!

Go see them in person at 812 E. Main St. in League City!

Merry Christmas From My Family To Yours | Kaycee Nicotre Photography

Woah! December flew by pretty fast... don't you think? This holiday season has been fun so far since Grant can do a lot more. I love making memories and traditions with my family and cannot wait for the years to come!

We've gone to Christmas parades, baked gingerbread cookies with friends, looked at Christmas lights, and decorated the tree. Grant tried to help with the tree... keyword: tried. I was just happy to get another shot of him with the tree and his ornament! He gets to meet Santa tomorrow. Wish us luck... ;) Is it bad that I love looking at the crying kid's photos with Santa? I can't be the only one. haha!

I was actually on top of Christmas cards this year and got them made and sent out on time to our family! We went to Yesterland Farm in Canton, TX to do a mini session with Ashley and Travis and then a few photos of Grant. We are definitely going back to Yesterland next year! There was so much to do and everything looked fun!

Grant decided he wanted to photobomb Travis and Ashley! HA! That is one of my favorite pics! Enjoy this special time with your family and friends, make memories, and don't forget to capture them! Merry Christmas from my family to yours!! XOXO

Batter Up

My nieces were coming to stay the weekend with us and I knew I wanted to take advantage of our time and get some cousin photos! I kept thinking of what I wanted to do with them. Grant loves to throw his squishy baseball at the house, the twins play softball, and we just watched The Sandlot not too long ago... so baseball theme it is!

My husband, Nate, has been told multiple times that he looks like Squints. I thought it'd be cute to make Grant look like Squints too! ha. Turning one apparently means that you are too busy to be photographed and stand by your cousins... in other words, he made us work! I think they turned out cute and we got some keepers! :)

365 Project

With the help of another photographer friend, I've decided to start the 365 Project! Basically you photograph whatever you want every day. If you skip a day it's no biggie! As you can see I missed day 3. I'm hoping to improve my photography skills and of course capture my everyday life! It challenges you to shoot exactly what's going on. No posing and you use whatever light you got! Most of the images will be focused on Grant but hopefully I can get in a few too. I'm excited to start this project!

Here is my first week... Enjoy! XOXO

Finally likes to sit in his chair. Don't mind his crazy hair.

I love the lighting that was coming through the windows early in the morning. He wakes up, eats, and then plays on his playmat. I used to love sleeping in (don't get me wrong.. I miss it), but I don't mind waking up to this smiling face!

He is loving bath time!

Bed Time Story

I've always said that if KN Photography didn't work out for me then at least I had some skills to take decent shots of my family...I do not regret picking up that Olympus camera back in 2010 one bit!

Sometimes I have to slow down and remind myself to put the iPhone away and capture my life with an actual camera AND print what I captured! Now the only thing I have to remind myself about is to be IN the picture! haha... I don't want to look back at photo albums and think where was I? I know a lot of you Mommas can relate. Make sure to ask someone to snap a few shots of you and the kids! XOXO
